Óbidos – a charming medieval town, said to have been a wedding gift from King Dinis to the queen. -Óbidos Castle: A hilltop medieval castle now converted into a historic luxury hotel; walk the walls for views over the town and countryside. -Church of Santa Maria: The main town church on the central square; known for 17th-century azulejo tiles. King Sebastian I married here at age 10 (1575).
